    Since the last CWS game of the day (Aggies vs Florida) is delayed for another hour due to weather, ESPN Ocho is showing the National Whiffleball Championships (NWLA is the league, if you're interested). Grown men playing whiffleball, and it is glorious as you'd think, in all of it's ridiculousness.

    It truly looks like fun, I'll admit.

    The amount of dumb **** baseball fans that post **** about the steroid era and how the HOF needs to let all the juicers in because “everyone was doing it” better keep that same ****ing energy for our 2017 team, obviously mainly Altuve....sorry, had to vent….

    i'm rooting for the guardians to go all the way because i know astros sure as hell going no where.

    From 59-62, there were two all star games, so he got 4 extra that way. He played in every one every year except his rookie year in ‘51 and the year he went to war early in the season (‘52). He was at war in ‘53.

    BTW, those two war years probably cost him at least 65 HR … he would have gotten to Ruth before Aaron.
