I think the exit velo was around 600 mph. So Maeda is also lucky (or maybe made of steel)

He played everyday all of May plus the last day of April. Yes Abreu came back on the 27th but they were both in the lineup a couple of games

His OPS for May was .684, yes the game that started his everyday run the last day of April he did hit a HR. But That certainly wouldn't push his OPS from .684 to .787

Where on earth do you get Singleton with an OPS of .787 during that run?

On April 29th his OPS was .605. On May 26, after starting all month, it was .724. So thats not bad.

CJ Stroud sits down behind the plate and witnesses a bomb. Special.

I just know that his OPS only counting the month of May was .684, which is WAY better than Abreu

But to say it was .787 is just...whatever

Watching Jon is kind of what makes me believe the team isn't big on using analytics anymore. If you watch Jon have an at bat it usually looks good. A ton of K's, but he gives a good battle usually, will take walks, just to the eye it looks like he is way better than what the numbers show he is

"They couldn't find someone else to start." - Detroit's broadcast playfully, after Blanco struck them out.
Not so much fun when your starting pitcher doesn't give you a chance.

Yea you are right, I typically don't hang out with grumpy people

    Why you always grumpy?

On another note, Blanco is good
