That's a damn good stat line for five guys. The rest of the team only provided 7 points, though Kenny gets a pass for his work in Game 1.

Team was great everyone knew their role - Dream was a true Franchise two way player!
Drexler, Horry, and Ellie two way players.

I remember 1995. I am glad no one told me that 29 years later, we wouldn't earn a single additional ring.

I don't think I would have believed that at all had you told me that back then. Really only got close to the Finals two other times, imo (97 and 18). This was the premier NBA franchise in this state by a long shot at that point...had been in the Finals 4 times in the 16 years prior...won 2 rings.

Cocaine hurt us as well, we lost John Lucas, Lew Lloyd, and Mitch Wiggins to lifetime bans.

Yep. We thought we had a dynasty. It would have been hard to imagine how things actually played out.

I completely agree...but by the end of the Finals in 1995, I was ok with how that all ended up, albeit they likely would have won rings earlier (and potentially more than 2) had that 86 squad not imploded. My comment was more about how I felt about the state of the franchise and the future in 1995.

To be fair, I'm certain die hard Bulls fans (not the MJ fans, alone) would have the same gripe since 1999.
