Luka is horrible on defense, thats a fact even beyond horrible, I think you would play better D than him, no joke.

 

In my younger days maybe, not now. Kobe was good, even very good at a young age but later on without shaq when he was the main creator he completely stopped playing defense. He was still better then luka because he was way more athletic but he was still bad

 

LeBron played a heliocentric brand of basketball, but unlike Harden (and Luka), he also played outstanding defense and rebounded. And he's simply the best ever to play that style of basketball. Jordan and Kobe did not play that style anyway.

Rockets fans have always been saying that while Harden and Doncic have similar play style, Harden gets hated and Doncic is a media darling.

I see a lot of criticism thrown at Luka these days. He's not a darling anymore.

Doncic will always have the Euro Bonus with the media, yeah, the fans are fickle on social media but they hate on anything nowadays.

Nothing surprising. Harden is a Cali boi, and he does not really care about anything that is not party and family.

 

The media/NBA affected Harden's contract values. His value for a team is overrated, but his value as a player is underrated. His advanced analytics are historic, yet he has been kept off All-NBA teams. He is not media-friendly. That is certainly part of it. But there is something else up with him. Maybe we'll find out what after he retires. On the other hand, Doncic does get "hate" because he's European from segments of the media. It's the same type that Jokc gets.

 

That has rapidly shifted in the last week or so. Harden never did the things Luka does and in his prime here, was in incredible shape. It was towards the end that he "let himself go".

Luka has never once been in Harden shape. And the 2018 Rockets would eviscerate these Mavericks.

 

Kobe wasn't a horrible defender until his body failed him. You're confusing him no longer having a lot of defensive responsibility.

 

Never seen videos of Luka smoking pot and being in clubs after midnight before big games. I have never seen Luka look stoned while playing in critical games.

 

you havent even tried looking, also harden doesnt smoke at all to my knowledge.. he has SEVERE asthma since he was a child. Dont think he could if he wanted too

Don't most people grow out of asthma in their 20s? Like the symptoms completely stop. I know in college he used an inhaler but never in pro ball (that I know off). Probably didn't affect him

 

Surf the net and you will find videos of Harden smoking bongs and blowing tons of smoke. Also, videos of Harden in clubs past midnight before big games. Remember the SA playoff game where he was completely stoned?
