I think they blow away the BEP. Lauryn is waaaay better than their female member, I think. Yeah, the last album was back in 1996 ... college for me too. It should be interesting to see what they come up with.

heard about it at the time but i was jsut starting college and i was broke so i could only listen to all their cd's lol....would have loved to go.

yeah can't stand it at all.....it is the most annoying song in the world to me and i finally heard the real version where they say "lets get r****ded" not started it's even more annoying.
Great news! Can't wait! BTW, no comparison between BEP and the Fugees. I really think The Score is one of the greatest hip-hop albums of all time. Very clever, great production, and great lyrics.
I heard about this this morning. My personal opinion is that Lauren is still loopy... it'll be interesting to see how long they stay together.
loopy? how? as far as r&b and women go... it was something like mjb, lauRYN, then alicia as far as the early 90's till now goes (i want to throw in "baby gurl" so much right now. still mourning her death ). i'm not sure if lauryn is a better rapper or singer. clever gal.
The Fugees, I don't mind. Lauryn Hill I didn't mind until she said she'd rather have here children starve than have white people buy her ablum. That just kind of ruined it for me - so I burned a copy of her CD. Now I didn't buy her CD and she and her children can live without that extra 5 cents. I'll overlook it for this one instance though. I'm lookin forward to it.

Feel better? Omega, I think Lauryn Hill is by far a better singer. Incidentally, I heard a stellar review of another singer who disappeared for a while and finally released a new CD - Jill Scott. The new album is Beautiful Human. It was compared to Marvin Gaye and Stevie Wonder's best work. Anyone heard it?
