I love how they give Cabbage a try but not Loperfido. Could it be because Brown traded for Cabbage and Loperfido was drafted by Click? Hate to think it is that petty but with this management, who knows. And for the record, I actually am pulling for Cabbage.
Of course one win doesn't transform -- but we need wins, and the Astros are close. SEVEN+ run-diff despite the record. We also need Jabreu DNP'ing. Astros are handcuffing their own damn selves. I don't see Jabreu playing much longer with the team. Astros have other options -- it's up to Crane to do what is necessary. Hopefully he realizes very soon how much money he losses by missing the playoffs instead of just worrying about Abreu's contract.
Agreed. I like Cabbage, but it's insanity not to even give Loperfido a fair shot to play anywhere on this team.
I think all these batting lineup and order changes aren't helping. Play a consistent line-up in a consistent order!
It makes sense if Loperfido is down getting reps at first so he can eventually get a shot after this team moves on from Abreu. Bringing him up this last time made zero sense though.
