probably not as Luka despite all his flaws is seemingly protected by both the mavs fanbase and most importantly the sports media. Keep in mind the harden nodefense video was started and made by a poster from this very website. Truth be told most casuals outside of houston never had the time to sit down and piece together a harden no defense video like that. The only reason a celtics fan made this luka video is because he is actually watching luka on defense as he is watching and rooting for his celtics lol . Luka will be fine as the media is already blaming kyrie. It'll die down probbaly after the infamous scott foster game 3..

But this is 2024 and not 2018 and you’re still moving goal posts. Harden could not only NOT beat an injured Spurs team without Kawhi and Parker. He lost to them by 40 at home. You probably also crowned him on paper before the playoffs when he was in Brooklyn and Philly and Clippers. He is not to be trusted. Ever.

I know this isn't the same team and you are likely right on that 2018 team, but man, Harden sure had those moments where he needed to show up and yet he didn't. Who could forget the wounded Spurs in 2017 and us not capitalizing on that and instead being blown out when the Spurs were down Tony Parker and Kawhi Leonard.

I haven’t moved anything. That 2018 team would be in the Finals this year. As far as other seasons, I can point to the same for Luka. They were lotto last year.

Welcome back friend, I’ve already mentioned harden has had stinkers in the playoffs. And let’s use your logic and say if harden doesn’t “choke” againist the 2017 spurs with no kawhi/parker all you would do is move the goalpost and claimed he “choked” vs the 2017 warriors in the very next round, you know the same warriors that went 15-1 in the playoffs that year.

And how do I know this you might ask??? Because the same situation played itself out a year later in the 2018 wcf and you call harden a “choker” for losing in 7 games vs 3 all stars. The same 3 all stars that not only won the championship but swept LeBron in the finals

There's no proof of that lol. That team was a one trick pony and only a two star team.

I'm pretty sure the Lakers team that got swept by Nuggets beats that team.

Yes, the team that was up 3-2 on objectively the most talented team in history would have lost to the Laker team that got swept this year. Amazing, lmao.

You act like that means something. How many times has Chris Paul been up 2-0 again in his long and illustrious playoff career?

So we just pretend he got a ring every time he is 2-0 oh ok.

To be fair, there's no ACTUAL proof that the 2018 warriors even make the playoffs in 2024, let alone win a round

Yes, it means that when healthy that team was clearly the best team in the league and proved it in the playoffs. That take is so laughable you're either clearly trolling, or not able to be objective. Either way not worth any more responses.

Haha fair enough. There's no proof that the 2018 team would not have gone 0-82 is a factual statement.

2 star team with bunch of old role players is the best team in the league?

They proved it in the playoffs when they lost and missed 0-23 3 pt shots????

You are the one trolling not me.

Did Tmac reach 2nd round when he went up 3-0?

Try living in reality not fantasy.

Is losing in 7 to the 2nd greatest basketball team ever (2017 warriors being 1st best), after your 2nd best player gets injured and running into peak foster really that embarrassing to you? The finals, which featured the 2nd best player in history (or 1st), saw him get SWEPT by that same warriors team.

The year after that same Rox team couldnt beat GSW with injured KD, Klay, Iggy and Cousins. if what you say is true how come they still lost with half of GSW missing?

Cp3 always finds some way to choke games in the playoffs. He has done that in LAC, he has done that in Houston, he did that in PHX and he did that in GSW. If you look at history and track record based on reality thats why the 2018 Rox arent as good as they seem on paper. IN THEORY, they look good. But in REALITY they are not.

Whats the indication Cp3 would have closed out the series if he was healthy? You mean like in PHX when they had the best record in the league and choked to Giannis and Luka?

sorry i misunderstood, i thought we were talking about 2018, the 2019 team was nowhere near as good. 2019 team had no shot in hell (i personally thought the rockets should've went full rebuild after 2018), i agree completely. It's also not my opinion that the 2018 team took the 2nd best team ever in the history of the sport to 7, that happened. It's not my opinion that foster simply had a virtuoso game 7 performance, that happened. KD missed like 1 game in 2019 and klay misssed 0 from what i remember? Cousins is a funny troll for sure though

Harden and Luka both dribble the air out of the ball, but Luka is a much better shooter.

You can't believe that. That team woulda won the finals easy this year. If that team was healthy they win in 2018 also. But being healthy is just not something that Rockets fans can ever count on.

42-3 record when harden/cp3/ and capela played together. A 76 win pace lol 1x 13 game win streak and 2x seperate 17x game winning streaks. I remember how we we used to play Jamal Murray and jokic off the court to the point it was speculated that mike Malone had Denver tank games down the stretch in 2019 to avoid a first round matchup with the rockets. lol
