If The Process was still the GM of a rebuilding team, he might priotize a torn ACL as it makes tanking next year easier.
The Pistons are mocked to pick Reed Sheppard if the Rockets and Spurs pass on him. Spurs really like Castle.
I don’t think it should remove him from their (Rockets) board, if he was top 4 on their board. Everyone keeps saying the rookie won’t be playing, already have a 9-man set rotation, playing time will be scarce first one-two years…if that’s the case, fine. Let him rehab then. 2. Wizards: suck, long term rebuild, they can let him rehab. 3. Rockets can let him rehab. 4. Spurs: Probably out of consideration at 4 but an option at 8? I don’t know. Is he gonna suffer a Cam Whitmore fall now? Now if you said 23 year old Dalton Knecht was going to miss his rookie season, ok, I could see him drop.
Spurs doctor speaks with Nikola Topic ahead of NBA Draft 2024 https://www.kens5.com/article/sport...onio/273-62a24d58-0b3f-428b-8100-7dc1ed31e185
Why do I have a feeling the Spurs are going to trade up to 1 or 2? Feels like they would definitely want Risacher or Topic or even Sarr. They’ve always been better at scouting European players for some reason. If they have a front court of Wemby, Sochan and Risacher they might even go after Trae. The young guys are perfectly suited to hide Trae’s defense. I can see him even improving under Pop, maybe become a little less James Harden and a little more Steve Nash. They could send Tre Jones, Keldon Johnson and a wealth of future picks to ATL. Dangerous situation. They would be very difficult to beat in the playoffs after a year or two of development. We should keep an eye on this, make sure we match their offers to Washington and Atlanta. Really starting to think we should cash in picks to get Sarr if possible.
First they don't consider him a pick and now they the team doctor spilling the beans. Which one is it Spurs? Do you understand the smoke screen now? @Easy
Jimmer Senior yr 3pt% = 39% Reed Freshman yr 3pt% = 52% …and Reed plays defense; Jimmer didn’t. Where are the “shades”?
Jimmer was at beast at BYU. This board would be going crazy for the Rockets to draft him if he was coming out now.
yeah, people act like Reed’s percentages came on a ton of attempts with the other team’s best defender on him…dude wasn’t even a starter maybe he’s OKC Harden where everything about his game screams star player even tho he didn’t have the role to match…
4.4 isn't a ton, but it's also not very few. It's a total of 144 attempts. And it has been pointed out that even though he's not the "starter" he played the third most minutes on a loaded team as a freshman. At least half of his PT would be against starters. Most importantly, he was the one who finished games.
