I think there is life in this group, too. We need to start to peak soon IF it is going to happen. JET is already on the team and fills the role of Bud. To just cut Jones would be the "cheapest" thing to do. Morey let one of his assets rot like a fruit --> last year he and second would have netted Keff Morris.

i hated it when they said hey bud lets party, matt and bill are great but dont seem like they party haha
noooooo, I wanted to get his autograph on my volleyball when he comes to Toronto with the Pacers. dream is dead now
Why do people say Bud is a shooter? He's a 35% career guy from 3 point land. Ok, technically he shoots it a lot, but he's sub-par, surely? Add 0 defence and you get released...

He wanted to go somewhere that he could get some playing time to increase his value. I guess the Suns could offer that since they are in full tank mode.

The stat line for his 20 mpg average since coming into the league 6 years ago is not impressive. He is a fungible bench player, nothing more. I don't see why we need to lock him up, or why you would be angry at Morey for not doing so.
He was a serviceable SF off the bench with Adelman as his coach because he comes around screens well and can catch and shoot....but his time has gone.....he doesn't fit anymore here. DD
I remember seeing him walking down the street when I was in the Bay Area. Talked to him a little, super mellow dude! Good for him!
