Trade To POR the 3rd pick for 7/14?

I am in a real quandary.

Do I put thoughts in this thread? or in one of the three previous threads just like it? Or do I wait and pick one of the future threads?

I am in a real existential crisis here, folks.

High on Reed, but if it played out and they could get Knecht or Williams with the 7 and either Ware or Edey at 14 I'd definitely consider it.

Knecht and Edey are ready to contribute immediately. Williams and Ware may take time, but both will be solid for a long time.

    Still want Bona at 44.

Knecht should be a no go IMO, he'll be 24 before his rookie season is over and when I watch him I don't see very much that will translate to the NBA.

He should be a solid 3 point shooter but that's about it on offense and on defense he'll always be a liability..... but I guess the team could use a guy older than half the roster...

His age and experience is what I actually like about him. Similar to Braun with Denver. He's smart, tough and a team player. He posted a 39" vertical at the combine and yes he can shoot. Proven to be clutch. They could use someone like this...

I like Williams as well, but it could be another guy that takes a while to adjust to the pro game.

I said this weeks ago. Rob and Ware at 7 and 14.
    FVV/Amen
    Green/Rob/Holiday
    Brooks/Cam
    Bari/Eason
    Sengun/Ware/Adams

even if ware and rob isn’t ready yet, we basically run it back again to start the season…. Won 40 games plus an offseason

This would be my top trade choice. Since I think Steven Adams will be starting (not because he's better, but because he's best for Ime's system) trade 3 and Sengun for 7 and 14. Draft Carter and Chomche. Yes, I know this is not a popular take but I'm not a fan of players. I'm a fan of the team and I want the team to eventually win a championship. Not collect good players and waste their careers just to make us feel good about ourselves.

So we’re giving up the two best assets in the trade? You’re kidding, right?

#3 in one of the weakest drafts in history is no asset. Plus it is not fair to bring Sengun off the bench. I already said it wasn't a popular idea because I knew the majority of you wouldnt be able to see past your fanaticism of one player on a TEAM.

Which is it, 3rd pick sucks, this draft class sucks or this draft class is so good I have to trade my 2nd best player for the 14th pick?

3rd pick ain’t worth **** but the 7th pick is?
Rockets need to attach an asset to move back from 3 to 7 in a “historically weak draft”. [IMG]

    Is that you Kelly Iko?

Lebron is either staying on the Lakers, or I think the Mavs make the most sense outside of that, don't see a point in taking Bronny.
