Fred VanVleet will be the worst FA acquisition in Rockets history

Not terribly but I expect him to be Secondary or Tertiary MVP again.

I do not see anyone having better handles......maybe Amen can get it together.

Lovin' Fred! He's done just what was expected - provided some stability on the floor for a bunch of kids still trying to find their way! From all I've seen he's been a great role model...

Harden, rather than FVV, prob woulda added a few more wins... maybe even snuck us into the playoffs - before getting bounced in the first round by whatever team we came up against...
and i could only imagine the toxicity as everything revolved around him... all for that first round exit... lol

Shout out to Fred for working on bettering himself and his game year round. Leading by example and helping others got him where he is, love to see it.

 

Honestly I don't think Sengun breaks out to nearly the same degree with Fred. FVV's game management was absolutely huge for giving our young guys structure and opportunities to succeed. Also think he's about as impactful as a 6-foot-nothing dude can be on the defensive end--amazing communicator, fundamentals, toughness and strength.

I'm more hesitant than I thought I might be to trade him this offseason, or probably even at the trade deadline. Hell, it might even be good to pick up his team option depending on what other moves we make. He's been such a great coach on the floor.

 

Where have all the summer workout videos gone? Are none of our young guys working out?

the only summer workout vid I want to see is Jalen locked in a gym with our shooting coach putting up so many 3’s that he can barely raise his arms from the pain.

 

Tari layup drills would be welcome, too.
