At the time this organization was looking like a crazy cluster fu*k!

We chose between Fred and Kyrie - 2 Champion point guards.

We chose Fred probably because he was the more stable option for this organization and young players.

I truly believe we didn’t make the wrong decision

Is Green a scrub? The #3 pick a scrub? Eason? A 2025/2026 1st? How much would be enough in your eyes?

Have you heard any other rumors? If so please share them ahead of time.

According to Clutchfans (members) Jalen Green is a scrub that needs to be moved to the bench.

Tari Eason might have a nerve issue with his leg or back. We went through that with
    Terrence Jones.

I mentioned Sengun for Cam Johnson and Claxton last summer.....well Locked on
Rockets sat with Locked on Nets and proposed something similar.

The Nets representative laughed. He said Sengun x Claxton would have the Nets fans rioting.

Jackson Gatlin said that's how Rockets fans would react to Sengun for Claxton.

Each fanbase is unrealistic to the value of their own players.

You'll find out that the Cavs are not just going to turn over D Mitchell for
a cheeseburger and a box of rocks. It will be expensive.
Some would say Collin Sexton and Markkanen were a high price.

I think Green is very talented and has a bright future. He just needs to growup. I'm not sure his 3 pt shot will ever be avg. He is one of the fastest players in the NBA with the ball in his hands though.

You didn't answer if Stone wants Mitchell as rumored, how much would you be willing to give up?

    Stone?

I believe Woj said "Rockets" are showing interested in Mitchell.

I pushed for Udoka but have since, ive seen him as an egomaniac. It appears he is more interested
in his playoff record over player development.

Last season KlutchSports representing VanVleet took Stone to the woodshed.
LeBron and KlutchSports immediately went to social media and say, look, we get
our clients paid!! What they wanted to advertise is, they get average players
    Max money.

But it's a you scratch my back and we'll scratch yours world. Knicks helped T-Mac get out of Houston
early because T-Mac agent begged them to please help. Knicks could have had him later that
summer without giving up any assets.

Melo and his agent did the same thing to the Knicks years earlier......getting him out of
Denver by way of trade instead of free agency a few months later.

Udoka and his "never missing the playoffs as head coach or assistant coach"

San Antonio: Assistant Coach.....David Robinson, Duncan, Kawhi, Tony Parker, Ginobli [ Playoffs ]

Brooklyn Nets: Assistant Coach.......Kyrie, KD, Harden [ Playoffs ]

Boston Celtics: Assistant Coach......Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Horford [ Playoffs ]

Boston Celtics: Head Coach.............Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Horford [ Playoffs ]

Houston Rockets: Head Coach......VanVleet, Dillon Brooks, (wanted Brook Lopez) [ missed playoffs ]

I'm not impressed. I've identified as we drafted Jalen Green would be scoring champ if
you surround him with 3-point shooters, providing spacing. It took Udoka a long time
to figure it out what I knew instantly I've been preaching spacing for years.

I'm only giving up scrubs for D Mitchell. Guys like Jeff Green, Tate, FVv, Dillon Brooks.
Landale, Steven Adams. Draft picks. Since our coach doesn't want any more rooks....

Train up Jalen Green, Sengun, Tari, Jabari, Cam Whitmore. They are on the verge
of breaking out at 3 years in the NBA under their belts.

I guess you should be the coach of the Rockets and maybe the GM too.

I'm guessing you dont want Mitchell because you're a big Green fan? I like Green too, but his offensive game really hasn't improved. However it seem as though he's putting more effort into the defensive end of the floor. That's all well and good, but I would have a hard time giving a guy like Green the huge extension that he will probably get after next season.

There are certain ppl here who don't care about public perception like me and a few others. Kyrie would've been great here. But the consensus here was he's a cancer & selfish. This is the dumbest take in NBA history. Now he's having a great year with our arch nemesis Dallas.

This is why I call some of you out for your shitty takes

I will admit I was a fool for taking the vaccine.

I guess you struggle with admitting you were wrong.

Why was it moronic to not get vaccinated? He was correct.

I feel like a moron for believing the govt and getting vaccinated. So yeah, in a way I'm a moron.

This is fair, Kyrie only plays hard if he's got a chance to win a ring.

Green gets this season before Houston has to make a decision unless he is traded.

I don't want Mitchell because he is a true young star......a true young star gives a team
a good ten years with peak years of age 26! and 27 being implanted in than span of time.

That doesn't come cheap. To your question what would I give up for him? Your question
should be what are they wanting to give Mitchell up? They (Cavs) have contract control
of Mitchell. They don't have to trade him if they don't want.....we have no leverage there.

If I'm them I'm asking for 1) Jalen Green / Sengun, 2) Sengun, Cam Whitmore, Tari, Jabari.
    3) Jalen Green, Cam Whitmore, Tari, Jabari.

Cavs are talking about moving Garland to make Mitchell happy. Rumored
to even be willing to move Jarrett Allen to reduce salary, again to make
Mitchell happy. We have to compete in a bidding war vs Nets, Heat, Knicks,
Miami and probably more teams. Why not Spurs, Hawks, 76ers?

I've posted the Sam Vecine video before about Jalen Green
progress. I'll post it again if I can find it.

Green is perfect for today's NBA space and pace styles. That's why you keep him.
He develops into that this season. Coaches have to put their players in position
to succeed. You don't force Mobley to be a spot 3 shooter or post up threat if he
does neither. You put Mobley at the front of the rim in defense because he is really tall.

The problem with this is the Rockets are missing guys that consistently shoot the ball well. They also lack shot blocking and switching on defense. Like I said, I like Green but I don't think he's a good fit with the current team and I'm not sure he's a guy you build a team around. He's far to inconsistent to be the number one option on a championship team.

There in lies the problem, you and others are too enamored with Sengun.

The Sengun mold has one won one championship in the last 24 years.

Jalen Green, Cam Whitmore, Tari, Jabari are more suited to AAU ball which is what the
    NBA is becoming.......Space and Pace

    Just do your research:
At the 6:13 mark it gives stats on Green having 6.0 FGA at the rim every 75 possessions.
Making 71% of them. Brings up 0 guards are doing that. See video below

I know what's going to happen.....Jalen will be traded for a more experienced guy and then own this
league with new team. It's in the cards. I'll just say what I've been saying. You don't trade MJ
for the older more experienced Dominique Wilkins.

Tari had a stress fracture reaction to a growth (benign tumor) to his left shin bone (equivalent to Tibia).

A lot of sources say it was pre-existing and it flared up in the Pre-season....and if you have body contact it gets worse.

They (medical guys and the Rockets) let time pass until they decided to operate on it.

Nothing with nerve issues on his back.

Great that Doncic one of the Top 3 existing guys does not AAU Ball.......and just made the Finals.

Preferred Euro-Ball. Nikola Jokic won it last year, also does not AAU Ball.

AAU = Chaos which I admit is a small part of Basketball games but Order and Game Plans are a bigger part.

It happens that the Rockets assembled a couple players that thrive in Chaos and Transition but that does not mean the whole NBA is like that.

Dillon Brooks offensive outbursts also a result of his inner desire to take over offensively.

I never mentioned Sengun and I'm not against trading him either. This isn't an either/or situation IMHO. BTW, what is the Sengun mold?

Man you're really high on Green, you really think he can become a top five player in the league?
