For the first time in several years I am actually looking forward to this series. Luka is insane but I went with the Celtics in seven.
IMO, this series is all about Jayson Tatum. I don't know how the Celtics win if he's only the 3rd best player on the court. Is he gonna be this jack of all trades Pippen type or will ever break through and have a dominant performance against a worthy opponent. My guess is we get more of the same from Tatum and Luka/Kyrie are too much for the Celtics to handle.
He's never leaving the Mavericks until he's out of the NBA or washed. Anderson family ain't letting that happen.l especially after a championship
Luka is prime James Harden with an elite killer instinct and a higher BBIQ. That is a scary, scary player.
Doesn't matter where he goes. If he wins a chip, he'll be hyped into the "all time greats" conversations.
As he should be, there are no Jordans or Olajuwons in this era.....Wemby is still an infant, you could argue about how great Joker is but I think he does not have the stamina to go against 3 big men. Greatness is relative to who is playing in this era and if the Greats are considered Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum, then of course Luka is up there and maybe even better than all of them.
I'd take Jokic over Luka any day. Usually when you talk about ALL TIME, you are not just talking about relative greatness but greatness over all eras. I personally think that the conversations don't make a whole lot of constructive sense because the game has been changing and the sciences of the sport have been progressing. Comparing accomplishments of modern people and that of ancient people is a futile exercise.
4 weeks for a strained calf? I mean the length of time these players are out for small injuries these days is laughable. After 4 weeks he has to be healthy....I mean .....people strain their calf at the local game and are back in 2 or 3 days..... DD
Well, Denver is really forked because they don't make big trades often........and their cap situation does not look that good either. Teams know now how to ignore Joker on the offensive end......and swarm his supporting cast. Jamal Murray ain't really a superstar, merely a very good scorer and decent table setter. It is not easy to win in places like Colorado or Utah.
