There is at least one poster who keeps posting that Jalen plays with "high efficiency". I mean, yes, he has some high-scoring games for sure...but I have no idea where this "high efficiency" talk comes from.

I think your statement is the problem. The idea that Jalen's consistency struggles exist in a vacuum distinct from the coaching and player volatility on this team before Udoka walked in AND the many changes Udoka has implemented so far this year - THAT is the extreme take. The reality is, Jalen is probably a different type of player with a distinct role and a team full of solid vets around him. He's not ANT, but he's probably a much more consistent version of the Jalen we have seen so far when he's the PG one year, he's the off guard to professional malcontents like KPJ and Christian Wood the next, he's getting the ball from a post initiator the next, then we move that post initiator to the elbow mid season, then he goes down and suddenly FVV and Brooks are our 2nd best players next to Jalen....I mean - I would expect inconsistency here. It's kind of absurd to not expect that. Props to Alpi for doing solid work despite that but he ALSO saw a change in consistency(albeit positive) once the ball started flowing through him in a more consistent way - go figure! These structural changes to the team DO have impacts on the player's statistical figures.

They can’t. Haters like Dick Dakota Bobby the Dummy and Jim69 can’t. They base everything off metrics that are flawed in itself and don’t take into account all the variables. As I said none of these haters can speak intelligently on what Green isn’t doing right on the court. Instead they criticize him using demeaning terms and judgemental terms like suck, bad, low iq, low efficiency. But none of these people can explain what actually is happening on the court.

Banchero's TS% sucks too, he takes a lot of really awful shots and like Green he's a terrible 3 point shooter.

The only reason 21 year old Banchero is better than 22 year old Green is that Banchero positively impacts the game elsewhere whereas Green is pretty much awful at everything.

I never thought we'd see the day when Jeremy Lin fans were rivaled, but Jalen Green fans are approaching that territory.

    "hateful language" lmfaooooooooo

To his worshippers, it's "hateful" to accurately point out poor performance.

You're supposed to just blindly worship and not think about it.

I don't hate Jalen Green at all - still hoping he becomes consistent. Not sure what this guy is referring to.

Im a Rocket fan and support all our players. You can choose whatever you want to support or believe but this doesn’t mean there are legitimate hateful fans out there like little bobby the dummy. Maybe you are one yourself. Not surprising at all. Oh btw have you read anything by Sengun fans on this site? Please Save your bullshit

....just like that sounds like excuses for someone too lazy to evaluate the flaws in their hot take.

I can explain...inconsistent/streaky scorer comparable to Jordan Clarkson. That's why he was benched numerous times in favor of Cam Whitmore...once Jalen Green gets traded, what will be your analysis on that?

You know, I don't want to go back and forth with you. Can we just agree to disagree?

This is like the hateful pad that McHale did to Harden's forearm

'Nobody can touch my precious Jalen.'

Again that’s not specifics about what is actually happening on the court. You aren’t objectively analyzing what you see on the court. You aren’t noting what he is doing wrong. Instead you speak in generalities. My point is none of the Jalen Green haters can tell me specifically what he is doing wrong in terms of basketball and what right looks like.

Specifically cite your observations based your tactical knowledge of the game. For instance: “Before the All Star Break he was hesitant in his decision making and not aggressive. Often times he is on the wing after a dribble handoff and gets a one on one with his man dropping and no big in the paint but instead of aggressively driving he hesitates dribbles 2-3 times and passes it back out to Fred. He should be more aggressive in these situations when he has a lane of attack.”

i haven’t seen any of this kind of analysis from haters. Instead they speak in generalities and hateful language. “Sucks” “not good” “low IQ” “trash” “poor shooter” is not analysis. Its judgement especially without any supporting or substantiating information. I say again there’s nothing wrong with your belief he isn’t a good player but at least intelligently provide reasons why with specific in depth evidence and as I said simply citing a few metrics isn’t a complete analysis especially when metrics like TS% is flawed in itself. I don’t hate any Rocket player or think any player is bad per se especially when they are young. To sit there and criticize green literally everyday without anything positive to say is regressive and hateful. Not to mention silly.
