for real. In California they have the santa ana watershed cloud seeding project going on (it's on orange county's government website by the way). it affects more than just OC but from about February through mid April of this year, it would rain like clockwork every single weekend from their cloud seeding. The work week will be sunny and beautiful, but come Saturday morning (sometimes Friday evening) through Sunday there was always rain.
SMALL glimpse of the damage I had. Dude did not mark every dent. Maybe 70% max. More concerned about what the derecho did to my house though. GOOD LUCK
Another thunderstorm with hail just hit us and knocked out power in our area near Montgomery. Fun times…
Heat will be in the 90's tomorrow and other days...humidity is off the charts up here...heat index will be 111 on Tuesday afternoon. I've never seen anything like that in early June.
The hottest temperature in the U.S. on Wednesday was recorded in Death Valley, California, where it reached a scorching 118 degrees. Del Rio, Texas, and Lancaster, California, tied for record highs Wednesday at 107 degrees and 103 degrees, respectively.
I’ve been in LA the past couple weeks…weather’s been amazing then I peep the Houston forecast…highs in the mid-90’s probably feeling like 100+ degrees with the humidity, and just wait till we get to July and you’re feeling nothing but stale hot air and being swarmed by mosquitoes while walking your dog at night Houston summers are just annoying atp
Not only has it been hot but the air quality has been terrible. I think this has been a horrible spring for people with sinus/allergy issues.
I wanna start a poll about whether we all prefer flooding on days where rain isn’t predicted or days where straight line hurricane force winds pop up out of nowhere. Totally normal stuff, obviously. Awesome.
