So Jokers previous chips don’t count anymore? Id be ok w Clingan at 6-12, but I’m struggling at 3. In fairness, I’m struggling w anyone at 3, but someone will be a player. I could live w Clinton, I just don’t care for your reference that Gobert proves it’s the right pick.
Rudy going down Lively just upped Kel’el Ware’s stock. Edwards going down to Luka just upped Topic/Castle’s stock. Everyone’s beloved twin towers on the verge of being eliminated. Tatum/Brown/Holiday/White Luka/Kyrie Did Topić/Castle stock just go through the roof? (“Jumbo guards”) Or maybe Sheppard’s stock increased? (Guards/Kyrie/White) Perhaps Castle/Holland’s stock moved? (Defensive/Holiday) Wait, maybe Kel’el Ware should be in major consideration? (Lively) Am I doing this right? What’s the latest narrative?
This thread makes no sense as Gobert got cooked by Jokic. it wasn't til KAT was switched onto him that Minny started winning. Not to mention Dallas is cooking Gobert....
This is one of the first drafts in which I remember that there are like 6 viable options for the Rockets pick. usually, it’s between 2 or at most 3 players whom the debate ranges.
Have to have someone that can handle himself on the short roll. Gobert being a zero on offense killed Ant on those traps. Honestly jock probably would've helped Minnesota more in that series. Is Clingan at least on that level? If he's better than that, sure give it a shot. Otherwise a deadeye shooter is the bigger need.
This thread aged like milk Rudy looked like a total liability out there against too-skilled 6'8" Luka
The playoffs are all about matchups, and Rudy Gobert being a giant clumsy doofus on offense can make things difficult. We've seen it throughout his career. Teams like Dallas, or the old GSW, you have to score with. I think a healthy Sacramento would have had a WAY better showing, especially If you added a strong forward to that team. I think Denver would have smoked Dallas. Build a top-10 offense and a top-10 defense, you have a shot.
