Darn. Fox 26 replaced King of Queens with Malcom in the Middle at 6:00. Malcom is a good show but KOQ is more of an "every day" type of sitcom. I also think the novelty factor of Malcom wore off quick. I'm bummed. My wife and I liked watching KOQ when we could. We really can relate to it. Thoughts?
And yeah Malcom in the Middle really did get old quick. Those kids grew up too fast to be funny anymore. Damn actors unions.. no longer letting child actors get anti-growth hormone shots..
MR. MEOWGI needs to improve his titling skills. I too, thought it was MX vs MLK. Oh and for me it's King, on both counts.
The King of Queens tries to work with the audience, get them to understand and have sympathy for the humor, while Malcolm in the Middle will by any means get us to laugh, whether physical comedy is needed or not. One can go back and forth, debating whether show to watch, but both changed the direction of the citcom movement forever. It's unfortunate that both Frankie Muniz and Kevin James have to be gunned down for us to realize this though.
This is FOX we are talking about here: what did you expect? Add another cry to bring back KOQ that will fall on deaf ears. So what are you former KOQers watching now instead, I still haven't found anything.
The syndication rights changed, its still on just a different channel. In reponse to, what to watch, its quite simple, "Seinfeld"
UPN20 is owned by FOX26 actually so conceivably they could both air the show. I frequently see both channels airing episodes of MASH at the same time.
