Sadly -- and I don't know Josh's career history -- but unless he's turned some sort of stamina/performance corner this season, he shouldn't pitch again until Sunday.

It worked out today with no runs, but two hits surrendered (2 K's is nice) while pitching b2b games???

A Saturday appearance could be shaky. He shouldn't have pitched today with 4-run lead, all things considered.

4 events that prevented a 3-1 series in Houston's favor.

    1. Rushing Abreu against one of the best pitching staffs in MLB. Like WTF. Just wait a week. Abreu isn't going anywhere.

    2. Not playing one of your hottest hitters when you needed hitting.

    3. Pressly meltdown.

    4. Banana Pudding swinging for the fences in extra innings.

It's been that type of season.

    Positive news (theoretically at least):

Postgame said the Astros SOS the remainder of the season is 28th.

Games aren't won on paper though. Get the wins.

I didn't get to see the game today.

Outstanding pitching. They've gotta get Caratini more AB's even if that means bringing up a catcher. He and Diaz should split time between catcher and first base.

4 quality starts this series, right? Offense needs to find a spark.

    Let's go, 'stros!

Abreu went 1 for 6. Why did they feel the need to bring him back for THIS series? What was the rush? Just another in a long line of stupid decisions.

They need to stop looking at the back of the baseball cards and start looking at the standings.

That Seattle offense is as feckless as I can remember seeing. JRod looks terrible. The lineup is full of guys who have no business starting for a playoff team. Their pitching is just that good that they can win with those bats. I wonder what they have in the minors, I figure if you trade them Tucker you can take their top 5 guys in the deal

When did "back of the baseball card" become a thing for rando internet people to attach to and attack?

For the 1001st time… Abreu and his agents get to set timetables on things like mid season minor league assignments that aren’t really a standard thing in the CBA.

The scene where he keeps winning at blackjack when his scam is based on losing… subtle yet effective.

Great win and another quality start for my man spaghetti, him and Brown appear to be turning a corner and man do we need it, we have 5 guys who need to stay healthy and perform until help arrives. I`m sorry bur Hader should NOT have pitched with that lead, that was just dumb managing, now we have the twins who are playing well and we wont have him for Fri and possibly Sat...........................DUMB DUMB DUMB

The larger the sample size I see of Espada the more I think he really is in over his head, seems like a nice guy but as far as being a MLB Manager, he isn't ready and seems to be a lazy hire
