I was at my Magnolia location and asked for the Chophouse Cheddar burger and they made it. Started liking the Sweet and Spicy Bacon burger better so haven't tried asking again.
How totally original. https://bbs.clutchfans.net/threads/is-whataburger-bad-now.323339/page-2#post-15220486
The last time I had Whataburger was in April in Dallas. It was the first time for some people from MN who were with me on the trip and they didn't like. One complaint was the mustard but also one of them got a cold burger and fries.
I had Sonic about 12 years ago when they opened the first one in MN. I was looking forward to it as I hadn't had any of their food since I was a kid. I was sadly disappointed as the burger wasn't nearly as good as it was in my memory. Never been a big a fan of Dairy Queen's non dessert food. Seems like a step down from most other fast food.
Recently went to a Steak and Shake, hadn't been there since I was a kid and it was so disappointing, the nostalgia was better than the actual food.
If your name is Shake Shack and your shakes suck then I don't know what you're doing but you're doing it wrong.
that must be the worst whataburger ever if sonic is beating it. i only eat sonic if im desperate. austin actually has some good DQs. the mayfield family owns a bunch of them and those are quality. they have such a good reputation that they are allowed to call themselves "mayfield dairy queen".
I'm just saying...this Sonic here makes damn fine fast food burger. Your mileage may vary. As has been mentioned many, many times: Whata/DQ/Sonic are totally location dependent
I never really cared for their food. Terrible fries and mediocre burgers. Not for me with so many other options
In N Out has the worst fries, I had the burger in Cali a few years ago and it was pretty good, tried the one at Willowbrook last year and it wasn't very good, the shake was good. Super clean restaurant and good workers but I wouldn't go back and wait in line and there is always a line
Yall must hate InO fries because they are the most fresh in the business. Literally come from freshly cut potatoes that day (a couple employees are assigned to chop the potatoes for that day), and yes they're on a time limit, unlike say arguably the best fries in the business with mcdonalds. With mcdonalds fries you can heat it up a decade later (no mold) and your house will smell like a mcdonalds. The trick with InO fries is to get them animal style. And for their burgers just add green chile
I see them making the fries fresh which is pretty cool (love the set up where you can see everything) but every time I eat them there just bland and undercooked, I wanna like em but last time I was there I skipped the fries and went with a strawberry shake which was really good. The animal style is the thousand island on top of the fries?
Y'all are the only people I've heard that don't like In n Out. I haven't had them in Texas but have had them in CA, UT and NV and liked them every time. Their fries are different than other fast food fries because they aren't heavily processed like other fast food. Like another poster said get them animal style or make sure you eat them fast. When they aren't hot they do get bland and rubbery but that's what happens with a real fresh cut and cooked fry.
So, you're saying I should use mcdonalds fries as potpourri in my bathroom? I'll set them on my old pet snake's heat rock to keep them warm and perspiring.
