I have a hard time believing those still making excuses for him really prioritize the Rockets over him, you guys blame anyone and everyone for his 3 years of failure but him.

Someone who prioritized the Rockets would at a minimum be making plans to get rid of the draft bust.

That might be the most ridiculous take I have seen this year.

I think the fact that he shows flashes is worth giving him an opportunity this yr. To me, draft bust are the players who never show anything.

And considering that he has shown flashes and that he avg 20ppg/5rbpg/3.5 assist is damn good even in a down yr

3 years in, showing flashes for 8-10 games while being absolutely awful in the other games is unacceptable... and it's no one's fault but Jalen.

Chucking your way to inflated raw numbers to the detriment of your team is not a good thing.

Personally I think that is overstated (similar to most good players) but he just had that ultra competitive gear when the game was on the line.

And acted like an ahole which got him going actually.

I think the ultra competitive gear was what separated him from just good players on top of his solid fundamentals......

He can't become Harden but he's better than Jalen Green.

If you aren’t a borderline all-star as the number 2 pick you are a bust. Look at the number 2 picks in the last 10 years. Green was supposed to be the next great SG. He’s closer to Lonzo Ball career wise and Ball can blame injuries

Brah Jalen Green barely has started his career. He has shown a lot of highs and lows but the important part he has shown the highs for sustained weeks and months between the ages of 19-22. Most draft picks that young don't show this. They just have the lows and like a couple of breakout games sprinkled over a course of a a few months.

There are all time greats who haven't even joined the league at Green's current age.

If Kobe Bryant was drafted and played with the Hornets his first few years in the league rather than being drafted by a team with a legendary dominating force in his prime and other high end veterans with his efficiency and averages his first few years he would have been discussed around the league at that age the same way Jalen is now.

But there has always been tales of his grueling work ethic. Always working when others were partying or sleep.

Jalen Green stans gotta be on meth atp

Kobe is 50x more talented than Jalen Green on both ends

Jalen Green isn’t even getting minutes on that Lakers team

this the same dumbass argument people were using to compare KPJr and OKC Harden…”Harden played with KD and Russ which helped his efficiency…he had better talent around him”…meanwhile, in the real world, Harden is just better in all facets regardless of the situation

Jalen Green is bordering on bust status…if he has another abysmal 1st half of the season looking like Wizards Jordan Poole, the excuses will be over

look like a star for a few weeks every season, and look like a bench caliber chucker for the rest…that’s been his M.O.

At this point we are going in circles. You just ignore every talking points and just restart the same process with different variations in wording.

Ya we know you think he's a borderline bust. You scream it every time you talk about him and just express many words to say essentially this. You e dedicated many posts to resting this same exact premise. So say something new.

Some of y'all have to be blood relatives of Jalen Green because the level of delusion here is crazy.

Good point. If Kobe had went to the Hornets instead of the Lakers its not telling where or how his career who have ended.

What we do know is that he benefited daily from practicing and playing against veterans for 2yrs before he got playing time.

And when he finally did get a chance to play, he still had his flaws but he was ready.

That's what you call PREACHING? If he was a pastor, he'd have 10 members. ALL FAMILY MEMBERS...Lol

However, just to clarify I was extremely frustrated with Jalen too. I see the talent and I know its there, its just a matter of putting it together and I think that's about maturity, coaching and putting in the work.

Ray Charles can see Jalen has the ability and talent but its up to Jalen. I must admit, I don't like the fact that he has two baby mama's at this point. There's always going to be drama when its two women involved.

He needs to be focused on basketball at this point in his life. That's just me.
