LOL! I don't think you can. I'm playing in Pleasantville and I try to take a taxi to a one of the neighbour's house but it wouldn't let me and you can only go to the community housing only. So far that's what I think and havent really try other options yet. I think the people who come by your house regularly wont be in the neighbourhood but only the main one the created for the game play. What I dont like about the Sims so far is teh Loading time. Just too slow.
I had a couple of cool scenarios. My first one was when I was a patrolmen, outside a convenience store. There were two suspects, I could either hold for backup or take them out. I went in there, frisk them, somehow broke the store glass. The suspects ending up being foriegners and I had to pay 900 for the glass. The other scenario was when I a detective. It was a drug bust at the club, and I could raid from the back door, or the fire escape. Chose the back door and I was able to catch the drug lord. Got 2 logical points for that scenario.
You can turn aging off. hit shift-control-c and then type in "aging -off" exactly like that withoute quotes. To turn it back on type "aging -on"
Oh, good, I'd like to achieve a few more things before my sim turns into an old man (have my own child, make it to national politics, cheat on my wife, etc).
I tried a different approach tonite. I created a female sim to my liking, moved her into a house and decided to woo her instead of Brandi Broke. It took a while before she wandered by my house, but when she did I jumped at the chance to meet her. After 3 days of getting nothing but rejections (even taking it slow) I finally found a kicker. I have been tearing up my job. I am now an MVP so I have plenty of charm and money, not to mention aspiration points. SO I bought a love tub. I designed a deck off the back of my double wide and let the magic happen. In one night I went from the cold shoulder to a hot make out session. Tomorrow I will attempt to propose the spend the night and try to get so e woohoo!
