What’s funny is rudy has been easily the best player on the wolves in the playoffs and has a +20/100 on off these playoffs. By comparison edwards is a whopping +0.7, luka is a +7.8
i feel bad for gobert as he is now the new whipping boy of the media and anthony edwards the medias new Ja Morant until they turn on him like they did Ja and before that Kyrie. Unlike the majority of the forum here I never had any issue with utah at all when we played them during the harden years. The utah hate on these boards ratcheted up because tmac and yao flat out werent good enough to beat those 2006-2008 utah teams. The funny thing about those rockets/jazz series is that unlike in 2004 againist the mavs. The refs called those playoff games straight up and fair and the rockets still couldnt get it done lol. Mavs fans while they can be obnoxious a lot of the time will ALWAYS go to bat for their star players whether it was dirk, or now luka. The SAS, Perkins types would unfairly attack them but mavs fans stood ten toes down and defended their franchise player. You wont see mavs fans over on their forum make threads asking for "luka to be traded", or "ive grown to hate luka doncic" over there. Only rockets fans are that dumb sadly, and what makes it worse is that Luka has the same warts as James Harden... ( weight flucuaution, high usage rate, runs off mulitple star players.) Now one could say it would be a lot easier to make the comp if both luka and harden were the same race. And that maybe mavs fans are willing to overlook a lot of the stuff luka does and staunchly go to bat for him because he is white, and harden doesnt or never really got the same protection from rockets fans because he is black. But i doubt thats the case
Yet and still the stubborn 1-on-1 defense on Luka & Kyrie may have cost them. Oh and the disappearance of Towns as any shade of an All-Star and Edwards being tired and not himself either.

I'd say losing your backcourt to drug suspensions and Sampson to injury tops what Harden went through on the unlucky meter
Those "facts" would mean much more if Harden didn't leave a trail of poor performances in important playoff games.
