Win tonight and they’re alone in second place. Beginning in last ended up being fun. You get to watch the Astros rise in the standings like that one summer in 1964 when The Oneders climbed the Billboard charts.

Would Espada have the guts to sub out Abreu in a critical situation?

Astros roughed up Miller earlier this month -- more of that is welcomed.

Let's hope Framber is more stoic than his last outing.

Astros out here wasting opportunities and acting like they have a 10-game division lead... smh

Bregman cleaning up / Abreu back in this beaatch.... clap, clap !!!

Let him leadoff --- so he can't GIDP in the first inning.

Weak move by Espada. You gotta snuff that crap out fast. Super weak move by Espada. You run Diaz right back out there and say “Framber don’t **** this up again”

I agree. However, I also wonder after what Framber pulled in his last start if Yanier feels comfortable catching Framber currently. Yanier seems pretty laid back and possibly wants to avoid conflict? I don't know.

Technically, Astros would have to bat-around.

I wouldn't be so mad then.

Speas is the guy you call up?

4 games at Sugar Land and he has a 6.00 ERA and a 2.667 whip. Don't care about the 15k/9.

    There isn't anyone else?

    If given the choice:

    a) guaranteed split
    or
    b) let whatever else happen?

I'm taking the split. Javier is gone and Gilbert will likely serve us again -- plus we little league talent playing 1st base.

Blair Henley just pitched as did Dubin... Whitley, France hurt... then there's Dylan Coleman with a 5.19 ERA in 17+ innings.

Espada needs to run over both of them in this situation. Very disappointed in our manager.

Maybe, but Yainer is struggling mightily anyways and Caratini has been a great backup..

So you start Caratini next game. Or the next 3 games. Framber should be pitching to Diaz tonight.

This line up alone should get Espada the boot
