Topic is a fused 6'7 Kyrie and Doncic minus the shooting

If we need size, giving up Green and Jabari is not it for those. Green is 6'4, while Mitchell is 6'2 and Jabari is 6'11 and Williamson is 6'6.

    That would make our frontline
    Sengun - 6'11
    Williamson - 6'6
    Brooks - 6'6

    Dallas would eat that up!

I proposed trading Sengun and Brooks (for salary) for Williamson and going after Nic Claxton in Free Agency.

    Nic Claxton - 6'11
    Jabari - 6'11
    Williamson - 6'6

That would make our frontline more athletic, plus give us a bucket getter.

Well, we have at least one good role player, but we're paying him $43M to be here :D

All kidding aside, I have a high confidence level that we have at least a few good role players among the young guys. That's the easier part though.

Can Sengun and/or Green or somebody else become an elite creator for himself/others?

Lol....too funny! But I think Williamson needs the right coach and Ime doesnt play.

Players tend to respond better to tougher coaching.

Aren’t you all about size? Zion is short and can’t shoot or defend

I don't think they are bringing back Valanciunas, he's a free agent.

Yes, you are correct but think of Zion as like a Charles Barkley type. Although he's short, he is POWERFUL.

This kid is 23! 23!!! Think of that! He hasn't even touched his peak yet! Sure he's fat but Im of the belief that if he can get with Ime, get into shape, how unstoppable he would be.

No he's not. he's probably not even a 10th as good as either player, nevermind fused together.

It is not even that he is fat, his legs cannot hold that much of weight over time.

    This is physics, biology etc....

He is not a kid no more after pillowing the thiccest of p*rn stars in history.

I think there's a good chance he's already peaked actually--he has that Ben Simmons mentality. Doesn't care about getting better, he got his money. Only 2 out of 4 seasons has he played over 60 games. Compare this season (70 games) to his sophomore season (61 games):

    Year 2:
    27pts, 7.2rb, 3.7ast, 61% shooting

    Year 4 (this season):
    22.9pts, 5.8rb, 5.0ast, 57% shooting

That is not a player on an upward trajectory. The dropping rebounding numbers are especially indicative of his declining effort level, I think. Dude is a physical beast, he should be in there getting double-doubles night in and night out.

that’s where I’m at except I don’t want Topic either. Basically a Giddy esque player that Linda looks worse to me and has multiple non contact knee injuries.

    pass

Sounds like a generational player until the last part.

If Rubio gets a shot, look out!
If Simmons gets a shot, look out!
If Giddey gets a shot, look out!
If Amen/Ausar gets a shot, look out!
If Castle/Topic gets a shot, look out!
Ben is in the lab, knocking down threes. New Ben Simmons —>coming soon! Look out!

    :D

At least those players became stars. Now let's look at the great 3 point shooters in college that failed to translate, that list is 100 times longer.

I don't know about Clingan stock. He sounds like someone Udoka is willing to have. Adding Clingan will give him more option on match up. The problem on him is slow and his durability. It also seems like he's not a good rebounder.
