These Mavs would have gotten swept by the superteam warriors. Rockets of that time would also dismiss them in 5

Amen. Wolves spent too much time settling for jumpers

Not trying to diminish what the Mavs have accomplished.

Denver had an easier way to the Finals.....and then the Finals against a superstar void Miami.

OKC is not that far away, they gave the Mavs a lot more adversity than Wolves did.

No they wouldn’t have we love playing in hypotheticals that vindicate our teams.

    there is a “bit if”
Or excuse after everything year after year, given good team their due and look at the fault or the rockets that continues with the mentality they run this org with

So much for my prediction of Wolves in 6.

Don’t know if the Twolves are just running out of steam at the end of the game but they are making bad mistakes costing them. In the other side the Mavs and Doncic just keep on coming up clutch.

    A question for the board:
Has there ever been sweeps in both conference finals?

    1. Ant is way too young, he’s not ready. Nobody is at that age.
    2. Wolves were built to beat Denver, not to win a title. They accomplished their goal (because Murray was injured)

You should be proud of what the wolves have done

Yes this is one of the best seasons in Minnesota history. It’s still disappointing to see a team that showed so much grit and clutch the last series just fall short at the end of each game.

Fortunately, Kyrie is 32, so Mavs are limited in their run as a contender.

Really hate to see Dallas doing well I wish Denver would've advanced so they could dismantle the Mavs

Come on man. The rockets had better players. Won 65 games.

I'll give you Luka above harden in the playoffs

But Kyrie and Paul were about even

    Capela and Gafford/Lively also even

Ariza Tucker vs Washington and Jones are comparable.

Rockets had Eric Gordon which the Mavs have no one comparable which is the main difference between the two teams imo.

The KD warriors weren't even that good (swag champs on 3), Harden and Morey made them look good.

Mavs remind me of the 2nd Rox championship team where they made significant changes in their lineup and got better in the playoffs.

I mean I wouldn't pin that specific situation on Harden since the whole thing falls apart when its just Harden vs Harden AND Paul. Dallas is dead in the water if they lose Kyrie or Luka as well. Especially if they were facing the KD-Steph-Klay-Dray Warriors.

i never saw greatness with this dude, he plays more like a guard version of durant than he does to jordan

just flatout cringe everytime he opens his mouth similar to ja morant, dejounte murray, and yes even jalen green

he was carried all year by a historic level TEAM defense
