It was 17 years bro. Teams would be lucky to have a turn around that quickly

How? he became their coach in 2011 but they had been to the playoffs a few times in the 00s under Nelson, most notably beating the 67 win Mavs

Too late. The Bucks already nabbed Doc Rivers.

Where the Cavs are - it’s where I fear the Rockets will be if they rush their rebuild. The Cavs put all there eggs in the Mitchell basket and he isn’t good enough and the pieces around him are not either.

The Cavs can do better than Bickerstaff… too bad his dad cannot coach anymore, he was very clever and smart and could help the Cavs.

The Cavs need a really smart and innovative coach to get more out of them. They need to utilize their front court more. They have asked Mobley to only defend, and that has hurt his offensive development.

I think people still should give credit to Bickerstaff, he did his best before Mitchell decided to join them.....

Did much better than with the Rockets.

Maybe it happens unlocking Mobley's O but no piece of cake.

I just question what was the expectation.
Seriously did anyone think they would go further in the playoffs?
I doubt Cleveland will get any further next year. . .or even in the next 3 yrs

Let's say Mobley and Garland did not meet expectations.

If Mobley came close to being an All Star and Garland developed into a perennial All Star then things look differently.

Also Mitchell impeded some of their development because he is a ballhawk.

They never developed that well. It looked good in the beginning.

Also Cleveland had the same winning streak as Dallas had and Houston had.....their streak just was not timed at the right moment.
