I am starting to worry if Sheppard will make it past us.

Atlanta cant take Sheppard if they keep Trey (and Murray). Plus I still think Sarr is #1 on most boards. The question is, what will Washington do. I think they need upside more than anything - they need a star. Topic and Risacher are the two guys with true star upside to me, so I would expect them to take one of them. That‘s why I expect Sheppard to be there at 3 - but I wouldn‘t be surprised if we take Topic or Risacher (whichever one wasn‘t picked by that point).

Ya no way a team takes Sheppard at 1 or 2 overall.

Given that I have very little faith in Stone, I wouldn't be surprised if he screwed things up and let Sam Antonio pick Sheppard.

After all, he is the guy who gave Brooks a 4 year deal....Stone isn't really known for competent player evaluation skills.

Players of his height that get drafted that high are guys of the talent level of CP3, Kyrie and AI.

You think Sheppard has a ounce of their talents when they came into the league?

Unsurprisingly a Jalen Green fanboi would confuse "talent" with "athleticism".

Does Sheppard have elite talent? Absolutely... is he going to be an ISO heavy player like Kyrie or AI? No.

Is that a problem? Not at all.

"Talent" doesn't mean being a mindless ISO chucker. A guy who comes in as an elite shooter, plus defender, and displays a very high BBIQ by consistently making the right decisions to shoot or pass is a VERY valuable player... even if that's the exact opposite of the player you blindly love.

Sheppard would be coming in ahead of where Steph Curry was after one year of college across the board. Now that doesn't mean he'll live up to that lofty comparison, but it's certainly possible.

I like Reed but after comparing him with Devin Carter I'm left with questions.
Reed is a lights out shooter. Devin is an elite defender and defense translates immediately in the pros.
The fact that Devin has shown that he can improve his shot in college leads me to believe he can do the same in the league. For that reason I choose Carter over Sheppard.
Some may think that #3 is too high for someone his age but I don't think it matters in a role player draft.

Sheppard is a better defender than Carter

Not sure who #3 on my list would be for the Rox, but 1 and 2 are Sheppard and Sarr

    I'd be happy with either

I think one and two go Sarr and rischar(spelling) then rockets have their pick after that whether it’s Clingan or Reed or whoever

Sheppard is being compared to Kirk Hinrich and that's worth a top 3 pick in this draft. Sheppard won't play right away. Carter will.

    Lol is this a joke?

Is Carter even a top 10 pick in this class? Are we talking about at pick 44? I think he'll be gone by then probably.
