Adios Valentina's. I loved that place, incompetence and overexpansion ****ed it all up, which is how every taco or bbq joint makes a mess of things. https://www.statesman.com/story/ent...ease-buda-texas-failed-to-reopen/73714035007/
I'll check it out only if I can get my BBQ organically cruelty free raised from Vegan gender fluid animals and if the smoker isn't powered by fossil fuels!
valentinas was great, but i hadnt been since the pandemic. i went in late 2020 and they were making everyone order online, even if you were standing at the trailer talking to the person in front of the register. they were being pretty rude about it too so i just never went back. those tacos were pretty incredible though. they really found a niche and did a great job with the food, but the owners were apparently real a**holes. theres several reddit threads about them with former employees chiming in and sharing text messages from the owners (husband and wife). they seem like they would have been horrible people to work for.
Had Woody’s Smokehouse brisket in Centerville twice over the weekend and brought home a couple of pounds. It might be my favorite brisket and has often tipped the scales on me deciding to driving to Dallas.
There are actually solar powered grills. https://inhabitat.com/wilson-solar-grill-stores-the-suns-energy-for-nighttime-fuel-free-grilling/
