Jalen and Tar plus picksi and starting Brooks at SG. LOL. DD I think you may just be trolling now. You are really an enigma to me. I don’t know if you have just outlived your brain or are just messing with us.
so kingcheetah suggests it, and i am the troll.? Obey your master! your life turns faster. whatever. u know the song. yes i was trolling.
When Zion is healthy, he's one of my favorite players in the league to watch play. I think if the Rockets were to entertain a move for him though, they would need to be confident that they have a better medical staff/trainers/nutrition team than New Orleans and that Udoka can bring out the best in him. Also, he has the best last name in the league.
For salary purposes it would have to be Dillon, Landale, Jeff Green, Holiday, Tate, 3rd, and two future firsts. I’d do that deal in a heartbeat as we’d basically be losing Brooks and adding Zion, Eason, and Adams without losing any of our young stars.
Looks like Utah is strongly going after Zion this summer. Rockets need to jump in and, at a minimum, pump up the price for the Jazz. Also, of note, the Pelicans just released/fired Zion’s personal trainer. Yesterday, Sports Illustrated headlined: Zion Williamson Labeled Jazz's 'Dream Offseason Target' by B/R.
That was the trade proposal last yr! I like Alpi but I've said it before Alpi = Sabonis. Indy came to the conclusion that they had to pick an identity, which is it? Are we going to run or are we going to go through our center who is good but not dominant? They traded Sabonis for Haliburton and now they're in the ECF within 2yrs. I would trade Sengun and Brooks for Zion. PG - FVV/THOMPSON SG - GREEN/CAM SF - JABARI/FA BEST SHOOTER AVAILABLE PF - ZION/TARI/J. GREEN C - SIGN NIC CLAXTON/ADAMS DRAFT BPA W/#3 This gives us an identity as a Running and Defensive Team.
I have such mixed feelings about this. On the one hand, I really love Alpi and believe he still has a lot of ceiling left. On the other, Zion's last name is Williamson, enabling all of you to purchase a Williamson jersey.
I like Alpi too but Zion is a BEAST.....when healthy. And the best part I would love about the trade is if Zion gets hurt, we have Jabari and Tari to fill in.
Zion has question marks, but efficient scoring is the one trait he has. He's a top 15-20 in true shooting %. He gets to the free throw line a decent amount, bad defensive rebounding but good on offensive boards. He'll make the ball go in the hoop within his possesions. Issue is if he can sustain the efficiency over an 82 game season, instead of the 35 he regularly plays
That is my point, that he is not going to be available for peanuts, i do not even see any reputable source that he is available at all, that is an extremely team friendly conract the risk reward for New Orleans is in their favor.
