Jake Myers adding a Leg Kick in his swing added to his Power Swing. Picks up his left leg and creates momentum by putting his leg down, great balance.
Another win and zero posts from two members who we all love further cementing their troll status as non Astro fans…..
Sorry I wasn't posting If Meyers could get some sort of bionic shoulder transplant he'd just about the best CF in baseball
Headed in the right direction... ERA below 4.00 for the first time since the Yankee season opener. 3.91 Keep it up .
Astros now have the best run-diff and expected W-L in the lowly AL West. 90+ wins incoming and the most feared playoff team. Please sweep Oakland .
Lol. He hasn't thrown fewer than 95 since his 1st start this year. He threw fewer than 94 5 out of 27 starts last season. Dude is a horse, he wants the ball, he will not take being coddled like a kid, kid. Oh...and batters are hitting .212 off him from pitch 75 and beyond this season, and hit about .190 last year
GP 2020 - 1 2021 - 0 2022-2024 - injured every season He's a workhorse approaching his last leg. Better to not push him like he's 20 y/o.. boy.
The thing about situations is that they're situational. What's the game looking like? How rested is the pen? A 7 run lead in the 6th is different than a 1 run game in the 7th. How does he feel? How are his mechanics? It's a fluid thing, junior.
Nuance is nuance, but general principles remain the same. JV isn’t 30 y/o anymore and he’s been injured ALL of the last handful of seasons. Respond accordingly.
Sorry I did not post either. I did stay up and watched the whole game. Almost gave up when we had a perfect game thrown against us after first three innings. Only 3 an a half out of first place. We still have a lot of issues to deal with. Being only 3 and a half games out of first place with all the disappointments and inconsistencies to start the season is very fortunate IMO. Seattle appears to be our toughest challenger for the division this year, Thank God they are not playing that well right now either. It is as if we are just toying with the rest of the division this year. Falling behind so we can at some point take charge and regain our rightful place. At least this way the season has been interesting so far. Hate the losing though. Hate the Bregman pop ups and weak ground balls. Hate whatever it is that is bothering Yordan preventing him from crushing every pitch in the strike zone and causing him to chase pitches that until recently he has laid off of. Hate never knowing which Framber is going to show up from game to game, inning to inning, and batter to batter. Hate watching our rookie manager make the same rookie mistakes over and over. Hate that Jabreu is still lurking in the background waiting to come back and disrupt the positive vibes that appear to be developing in his absence in the last couple of weeks. I do however love the fact that the bullpen for the most part has stabilized. Now we need starting pitching to match this improvement. It may be difficult given Verlander's age and Framber's melt down issues. We really do not have an ace unless we cross ours fingers and hope Blanco continues his early season success. We need to keep Dubon if at all possible somewhere on the infield. He would be perfect and would get plenty of playing time if we rotated him giving our starters an occasional day off. IMO it would not hurt to give Bregman or Altuve an occasional day off every now and then. If we are not going to play Fido at first base he needs some playing time in the outfield. Unfortunately it looks like he has been designated as player to be sent down when Jabreu rejoins the team.
No you're not wrong, but there's a time and place to pull him early and also to let him go deep. Arbitrary pitch count numbers are annoyingly arbitrary.
Then say it with your chest, b*tch. Anyways, Chas needs to be off this team. It’s nice to see Espada finally realize what Diaz is and isn’t, and bury him at the bottom of the lineup.
