Dillion Brooks/#3 pick/Tate/Joke Landale/Future Picks for Zion Williamson.

If I had to trade one of the core 6, it would be Jabari Smith Jr….

Zion's productive when healthy, but over his first 5 pro seasons, he's played an average of < 37 games per year.

That means more than half the games since he joined the Pels, they've had to work around his absence. No thanks.

And to think that some of you drooling for Zion also had a boner to bring Ben Simmons in. We would have had two players on the 1st string Don't Give a Sh!te About Basketball Team.

Yah I don’t think I’d take that chance on Zion because he is NEVER healthy when it matters. But hypothetically, I’d probably be willing to part w Green and Jabari for a Sengun Zion front line with Amen as the future PG. That’s only if we had a crystal ball guaranteeing a healthy Zion.

A lot of people are sleeping on Zion here. He does have questions with injury and motivation but he's better than all the other trade options that have been discussed. He's easily worth #3, Jalen, Brooks, etc. to me. I don't know if that's realistic for Zion or not. Trading 3, Jalen, Brooks, etc also allows us to pay most of Sengun, Bari, Jabari, Amen.

I'd just keep Amen. He impacts winning .... Zion impacts the salary cap and the scale.

Do not want Zion. Loads of potential that will likely never be realized. He struggles with obesity and related health issues. Amen is an incredible athlete who can't shoot straight. One might can be fixed, the other not so much.

...but the contract speaks volumes to both where Zion is with his team and what his agent feels like they HAD to accept. Do you really want a player that you have to attach so many strings to their money? Sure the contract limits risk and is team friendly but if you are fairly certain he is going to miss/not live up to his potential - why would anyone take on that risk at all? You are still giving up max salary to get him because of salary matching rules(and potentially draft assets additionally) for a guy who has demonstrated a long pattern of self sabotage by not putting in the effort - I can only imagine the only teams willing to take that risk are the ones with a rapidly shutting or recently shut window(Warriors and Lakers come to mind).

I didn’t know about his contract, I am intrigued. His contact doesn’t make him play more though. It just keeps the team from being hung with it.

You are right about the Lakers and Warriors, but they have nothing to trade.

Yeah we would have to include the #3 pick with Sengun to land Zion.

Zion was in improved shape AND STILL blew a tire 30 minutes into a high intensity “playoff” game. No for me.

No to Zion, something ain't right about that dude, and it's not just his injury history or questionable women choices, it's his bball game.

For me it would be Jalen and Tari and a future FRP for Zion.

    Starters.

    PG - FVV
    SG - Brooks
    SF - Bari
    PF - Zion
    C - Sengun

    Bench

    PG - Shepherd
    SG - Cam
    SF - Amen
    PF - Green
    C - Adams

If I could trade Brooks instead of Tari I would but I think they might want Tari too...
