Just send in our troops and invade Russia - that is where this is headed and as long as Putin lives we won't have peace, he must be taken out. DD
Yea, of course, Putin is going to poke around the edges of article 5 to sow discord, divide and disagreement between NATO members. One of Putins biggest advantages is that he is a one person decision making process. One of NATOs biggest disadvantages is trying to herd 30+ members and get them to agree on stuff.
I think that's far too simplistic. Russia will intentionally take actions that give the Russian Federation plausible deniability and will start with actions that are quasi-war like which some members will think trigger article 5 and some won't. With the whole point being to subvert the alliance, and it'll probably work because trying to get 30+ different countries to view these situations in the exact same way will be difficult/impossible.
Why in the hell would we do that? If you want that outcome you and your kids better be on the front line.
I just wanted to check in to see if all the only mainstream media consumers still think Russia is losing the war as they have been told until recently . Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan etc. They never learn. At least we don't have young Americans "volunteering going over there yet (and hopefully never) to promote Ukraine's inalienable right to join NATO", "defend the American way of life", "to protect democracy" or "prevent the need to fight the evil Russkies in the Continental US" etc.
Don't forget this dude thinks hamas has the right to fight Israel even though Palestinians have never been officially recognized as a country yet Russia who has signed multiple peace treaty with Ukraine and whom is a offical voting member of the UN has no right to fight back! The only people dumber than @AroundTheWorld are lefties. Sincerely the dumbest in the world who have no convictions in anything other than America sucks
glynch - we stand together on this issue. Ukraine is in a hopeless position and the United States is wasting money and resources by supporting the conflict. This is an unwinnable war that is not ours to fight. Biden and his deep state handlers will soon be talking about sending American troops. We've already wasted $200 billion that could have been reinvested at home in failing American communities. Instead it's paying for bombs over Ukraine. Biden's handlers want forever war, and he's too weak to stand in their way.
Please name one bill the GOP proposed which would have used this money to re-invest in failing American communities. Just one.
Well there are the Dems who can propose bills, too. I'm not saying the Dems are not better on domestic issues. When it comes to foreign affairs and frequent wars, there is all too little daylight between the two parties.
The Dems have passed bills for infrastructure, etc. Bills the GOP voted against and then touting them when campaigning in their districts. I keep hearing clowns like @El_Conquistador saying the Ukraine money should have been spent on domestic issues, yet he cannot cite one GOP proposal.
^ Except in the case of Russia, where the GOP, @glynch, Trump, Putin, Viktor ORban, Tucker Carlson, North Korea China Elon and just the worst mother****ers you can imagine, foreign & domestic have all aligned in favor of enabling, aiding & abetting Russia's unprovoked, unilateral, war-crime spree of the century in Ukraine. A hearty **** off & Slava Ukraine to you all
Unprovoked? Have you forgotten about the US-backed coup in Ukraine in 2014? Or the November 2021 strategic alliance with Ukraine that was intended to pave the way for Ukraine to join NATO? Russia finally said that they've had enough. Democrats wanted a war, provoked a war, and gosh darnit, they got themselves a war. Just like they wanted.
Except that you haven’t addressed a single point and never will dumbass Try hard Fisher trying to be edgy all the time
