    I wouldn't say woke people....

    But unfortunately the Media and WNBA marketing have put a bullseye on Catlin back and I don't think that's right..

    The young lady is a very good basketball player and right now she's being used as a pawn for others glory. If the WNBA was serious about growing the league they would be flooding the channels with all the TEAMS.. This right now is their golden opportunity with Clark and Reese, almost like Bird and Magic.. But they are royally screwing it up and putting too much pressure on Catlin..

    I do think it's woke people, those are people who proclaim unfairness and victimhood over truth and reality.

    She was a popular player in college and it's clear that others are jealous she's getting deals and is more marketable than say a weed smoking Britney Griner to little girls.

    If you want to go with saying woke.. Then go for it...

    Yes she was popular in college, but it was more than her that helped to put the womens bbal tournament on the map, but that is neither here nor there..

    If the WNBA wants to succeed than stop putting a target on this young lady back and promote all of your young stars to help grow the game.

    It's not the WNBA giving her criticism, it's the media.
    Jamele claims Clark is only successful cause she's white. which is not the reason why anyone is good at basketball.

    Now I agree with you on the media and unfortunately that's her biggest enemy right now... With individuals like Jemele on what end and then you have those on the other end trying to put her on a pedestal...
