Just think, no matter where a virus starts, once it comes to America nothing will be done to stop the spread if Trump is President again. He showed us all how stupid he was last time with his incompetent and dangerous misinformation, and suggested ways to kill the virus like injecting bleach. He did nothing but make things worse. He simply doesn't care about anyone but himself.

Would have gotten banned from social media, called a crazy conspiracy theorist and canceled for even mentioning the possibility not too long ago.

At least he doesn't have 34 felonies.

I wonder how many people died due to the massive misinformation campaign brought on by Fauci and the democrats. It wasn't just the US, the entire world was following this idiot blindly. Its not the mistakes, but the full on offensive campaign the Democrats put forth to suppress the truth.

I wonder how our blind loyalist 'just following orders' posters like @astros123, @Amiga, @No Worries @DaDakota and others have to say about this. It always amuses me how the partisan left is so adamant about how they are always right.

If anything, his regulations were overly cautious. I don't think more people died from being too cautious.

Also that Xeet has no context. Let's see the whole thing.

    • People were prohibited from spending time with their dying loved ones in hospitals because of arbitrarily being "too cautious".
    • Forced isolation led to massive mental health problems and even suicides because of arbitrarily being "too cautious".
    • Children were deprived of social contact and education because of arbitrarily being "too cautious".
No wonder that the proponents of arbitrary authoritarianism are now trying to rewrite history and downplay the negative impact of the actions they supported.

its exactly what they are doing - Dismissing all the harms that came with blatantly obvious bad policies.

Further many people died because they were lied to and told them masks prevented the spread of the virus and the vaccines stopped infections and transmission.

    Project much?

How many lives were lost by not getting the Covid vaccine?

How many people made trips to the ER when they over did it with the horse dewormer?

People weren’t lied to. The best advice at the time was given. Some of that advice was imperfect since Covid was a novel virus.

The average Joe or @Space Ghost wanted certainty when none could be given. When the advice turned out to be imperfect, these people jumped to a set of conclusions that were just as imperfect.

Some of the problem was that science and by extension scientists were considered know-it-all elitists who lacked the common sense of the common man. Instead of trusting what the scientists actually said, these common folk did their own “research”, which was comically bad.

This lead some to believe that vaccines did more harm than good. The results are tragically guessable. 400K or so people likely died from not getting their vaccines.

The fact that @Space Ghost is still **** posting about Covid for ***** and giggles …

if you made something up out of whole cloth, and then went on national media, using your position to influence global policy is that "best advice at the time" or....?
