But when he played they were still just average and he's not yet capable of playing major minutes, so....
I agree that the system sucks, we saw it last year when he got robbed. But every time they get it right, we should be happy. I'm not in favor of giving awards to players who don't deserve them, but to each his own.
He'll win it, I admit that Jokic is up there but it only takes an injury for Jokic, and Shai would win it. It is pretty close race to me.
ALL-NBA First Team: Luka Doncic Shai Gilgeous-Alexander Jayson Tatum Giannis Antetokounmpo Nikola Jokic Second Team: Jalen Brunson Anthony Edwards Kawhi Leonard Kevin Durant Anthony Davis Third Team: Stephen Curry Tyrese Haliburton Devin Booker LeBron James Domantas Sabonis
LMFAO at Boston getting only 1 guy while PHX gets 2. Reminds me of the 2018 Rockets who had - 1 - all NBA/all star despite laying waste to the entire league from the Western Conference
Steph curry had a higher defensive rating than offensive rating about 90% of this year. The nba is a popularity contest
I agree with making the team less competitive for Rockets reasons. Overall that is annoying though. You get to make more money because of an award but your own team then is less competitive salary cap wise.
agreed, system is dumb. The extra money shouldn't count against the cap, but teams also give supermax deals like candy so it's on them
