It's fine, let him go. The whole thing takes around a week and a half probably? If it's the way you guys says, they won't play him much, they'll keep him on the bench mostly. Most probably, they'll play him just enough minutes in the first round to get through, and will play him enough minutes in the first game of the next round to win, and that's it. I don't expect him to play much, especially since 2nd and 3rd will probably get a ticket to the World Championship. Either way, he's going to China in the summer. So he might as well stay in shape during that visit. WHat's going to happen with Del Harris?
Yeah, you right, other players do play in the offseason and that is when improvement is made. Plus, I'm sure he likes going over there and being with his family and friends. I'm sure its good for him to get away from here and go over there. If only he could get better teamates in China...
did you read the falsone interviews? the constant playing is what keeps him from gaining strength and endurance...
Remember that the outbreak of SARS forced the last Asian games to be moved resulting in Yao showing up to his firsttraining camp late. Even if he goes to 2005 games and if no unforeseen event comes up, Yao should have enough time to recover and be in Houston for the start of 2005-2006 training camping. But that is ways away. I just cannot believe we now have T-Mac. Let me pinch myself to make sure that I am not dreaming.
Just remember, Steve Marks (when he was back with Ch. 26) caught Scottie Pippen buying a house in Sugarland before the big sign-and-trade deal that brought him here... Uh-Oh...!!!!
