    Bagwell in a heartbeat b/c he can play defense.
    Thomas has been DHing lately b/c he defense sux.

    This one is easy. JEFF BAGWELL! Today, 5 years ago, 10 years ago, American League, National League... doesn't matter. I would take Jeff Bagwell.

    Anyone know what Frank Thomas has done in the post season? If he performed at a relativly good level that could lean a few votes towards Frank.

    I'd take Bagwell for character also. All I remember about Frank Thomas is him whining a couple of years ago when he started hot, that he wanted a new contract because the $10 million he was making wasn't enough. This after he had sucked the year before.
