The Republicans slavishly devoted to him are worse, or at a minimum more pathetic. Neither is good. Both are naked partisanship.

So if someone has refused to cooperate with authorities and is holding material that is critical
To national security should law enforcement not be prepared to use force?

Also to note Trump himself on a couple of occasions told LEO’s they should use more force and less care when apprehending suspects.

Trump acts like they were authorized to just come in and kill him or others, but left out the only reasons deadly force would be authorized. As usual, he leaves out the facts on that deadly force authorization. No orange man, you are the one mentally unfit to hold office, and you are by far the biggest threat to Democracy in my lifetime. The one committing all the illegal acts is Trump. That's a fact.

POLICY STATEMENT USE OF DEADLY FORCE (7/19/2022)

    1. Law enforcement officers of the Department of Justice may use deadly force only when necessary, that is, when the officer has a reasonable belief that the subject of such force poses an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to the officer or to another person.

    A. Deadly force may not be used solely to prevent the escape of a fleeing suspect.

    B. Firearms may not be fired solely to disable moving vehicles. Specifically, firearms may not be discharged at a moving vehicle unless:

    i. a person in the vehicle is threatening the officer or another person with deadly force by means other than the vehicle; or

ii. the vehicle is operated in a manner that threatens to cause death or serious physical injury to the officer or others, and no other objectively reasonable means of defense appear to exist, which includes moving out of the path of the vehicle.

    C. If feasible and if to do so would not increase the danger to the officer or others, a verbal warning to submit to the authority of the officer shall be given prior to the use of deadly force.

    D. Warning shots are not permitted outside of the prison context.

    E. Officers will be trained in alternative methods and tactics for handling resisting subjects, which must be used when the use of deadly force is not authorized by this policy.

    F. Deadly force should not be used against persons whose actions are a threat solely to themselves or property unless an individual poses an imminent danger of death or serious physical injury to the officer or others in close proximity.

    2. Officers should seek to gain voluntary compliance before using force if feasible and if doing so would not increase the danger to the officer or others.

This is silly. Any planned raid would have paperwork like this. Of course FBI agents would be armed, they are law enforcement officers. Of course they would knock to see if people are in rooms that are going to be searched. Of course they would be prepared to engage with the Secret Service per existing liaison relationships. None of this should be of concern to anyone. Certainly it bears not at all on Biden or his mental fitness. What nonsense.

The MAGA cult and Trump sure love twisting the facts to stir up a bunch of outrage over something that is common protocol. Same crap different day.

Trump nearly escaped death? That is what the Deep State wants you to believe. Trump has been replaced with a double, who appears to be having dementia issues.

You can't seriously call anything about Trump's traits common. There's a reason he ticks most of the boxes for a sociopath. Come on man, get real.

I doubt that a single President in history lied as compulsively as Trump. The guy lies non-stop every single day. I'm not even sure he's capable of talking for even 5 minutes without squeezing in a lie or two. It's pure madness.

Was there a raid today? Or is the outrage about it meant to distract from the fact that a judge found strong evidence he's guilty?

    CNN:

Months before Donald Trump was indicted for mishandling classified documents, a federal judge said that investigators had “strong evidence” that the former president “intended” to hide classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort, according to newly released court documents.

Judge Beryl Howell cited, among other things, the discovery of additional classified documents found at Mar-a-Lago months after the FBI’s search of the property in the summer of 2022. The records included a “mostly empty” folder marked as “Classified Evening Summary” that was found in the former president’s bedroom, as well as four other documents with classification markings found in his post-presidential office at the resort. …
