Pacers really confuse me. So there’s a good chance they could beat the Celtics especially without Porzingis.
I could see the typical Celtic let down home game early, but other than that this will be a short series.
Pacers could potentially be quite the competition that takes down the Celtics, but somehow I don't see this going past 5 games. I think Celtics have learned, but if they do their disappearing act again, Pacers might actually win. Would love a Pacers Wolves finals
The Celtics have been the class of the East all season. On paper the Celtics should win. The difference is star power. Tatum and Brown have been here before, many times. This is all new to Indiana. Yet, the Pacers SHOULD HAVE BEEN overwhelmed by on-the-road game 7 pressure. They were not. The Pacers can match the Celtics on the perimeter. They may even have an edge in the middle if Porzingis can’t play and Horford has to cover Turner out to the 3 point line and run all over the court. They certainly have the depth advantage. The Pacers, however, sometimes play defense and sometimes do not. Haliburton sometimes is timid and sometimes is not. The Celtics, for all their skill level, are not great at home and have a recent history of underperforming, as they did vs. Miami last year. So the head says Celtics in 6 or 7, the heart says Pacers, and I'm inclined to go against the grain and pick my guys. Sure, I am a homer. Sue me.
@pacertom just want you to know someone in houston is rooting for you. I have hated the Celtics since I was 6 years old and I’m ****ing Irish. Go Pacers
These announcers and this game presentation is the worst I’ve ever seen/heard in ANY major sports conference/league championship. I feel like we’re watching in a museum or hospital. Awful.
