Jokic is 29, our best player is 21. I don't think the rockets should make any roster decisions based on how to combat Jokic when he will be on his last leg by the time the team's best players are in their prime.
Clearly a case of "you didn't watch anything but highlights"..... Jokic was 2-10 and 1-9 on wide open 3's, like, no one near him 3's. Jokic still scored 34 points, so, if we need Clingin to hold him to 34 points, hell, we can do that just fine with Alpi and still get 25 on the other end from our center. Instead of, maybe 6-8 Only thing holding Joker back was Joker.
To take a plodding center using a top 3 draft pick is just stupid, but I don’t put nothing past Stone.
Clingan is like a slower version of Jon Koncak. I mean, he'll literally look like a time traveller if placed in today's NBA and not in a good way.
I loved seeing the Nuggets lose, but lol, please stop Jokic was giving Gobert easy work…almost akin to abuse at times they were literally double teaming Jokic
Clingan isn’t slow. Like he can’t shoot free throws. That’s real. You watch him roll after a pick and you say to yourself, man this guy is slow… your bad judgement is judgmental.
Stone drafted a bust #2 overall, he failed to trade Tate several years in a row, he signed Brooks to a ridiculous deal the team is stuck with.....so far the most positive things Stone has done are landing Sengun and MAYBE landing Tari and Cam. There's no reason whatsoever to trust his judgement.
They let him take 3s, they risked it. It is part of putting gobert on jokic. He can’t come to the 3 pt line because they want to protect he rim from Gordon, mpj.
