Well, that's a shame. Jokic was still clearly the best player on the floor, but the Nuggets' shooting as a team doomed them. (To be fair, Jokic was part of that up until the 4th quarter.) Ant is legit but I can't help but feel like the refs intentionally called the game a certain way to get a certain result. They definitely let both defenses play tonight, and that favors Minny.
denver played better, got better shots, was the better team but sadly shooting luck is part of the game and they couldn't overcome missing wide open shot after wide open shot

KAT really proved me wrong. He kept the Timberwolves in it. Nuggets were on the verge of blowing it open but KAT kept hitting the shots that kept it from getting away for them.
Murray not taking his rest in the 1st period messed Jokic's rest up. Jokic plays the entire 1st period and rests the beginning of the 2nd. Murray sat the start of the 2nd and with it being a 5 point game Jokic stayed in. Jokic then would have rested the start of the third and looking back at it he should have. He didn't have the energy to even rebound so the Wolves got a few key offensive rebounds in the fourth.
Nuggets killed themselves last summer when they didn't secure a rotation player to replace Bruce Brown. Murray being a yo yo was also a big problem. MPJ used all of his bullets against the Lakers. He was a flaming train wreck the last 4 games. It was a huge mistake for them to play the entire 1st half with their closing offense because it wore out their Big 2. Despite all of this, the series went 7 games and they have a 20-point lead in the 3rd quarter. T-Wolves should be favored against the Mavs but I see the series as close to 50/50.
You were kinda putting it on Malone yourself. Jokic gets enough criticism so it won't be anything new when the media goes after him again.
