Not sure if being facetious but US cities arent crime and drug ridden hell holes nor are vast majority of US small towns dens of the Klan.

I have no problem living near the downtown of a city that a few years ago had one of he worst outbreaks of rioting and looting. I had no problem two weeks ago stopping in small towns in rural Alabama.
