Oak Forest is without power and the cell service is really spotty and slow right now. My carport was destroyed by the storm - the screeching sound it made was freaky as hell. Fortunately our cars were undamaged. I got home from work right as the worst of the storm hit and the wind was gusting extremely strong. Not sure if there was a tornado nearby but it was scary.
My sis-in-law lives over there and they're stuck because there's no way out of their street with the trees down.
Wow, those pics from downtown are surreal. So glad I'm working from home now. Kingwood avoided it all, maybe for the first time ever.
Our street is passable but there’s a number of fences down and another neighbor has a tree fall on their carport. speaking of carport, can anyone recommend a company to tear the old one down and put up a new one?
In Spring Branch and still power, nothing I'm reading seems to indicate it will be restored anytime soon. This is the freaking worst.
Seriously? Im in a duplex in Oak Forest and it didn't feel that bad but when I left to my parents couldn't believe all the trees knocked down.
I’m in the heights area near Taylor St off I-10. Power still down. Fence was destroyed. Tree and debris all over the roads.
Cmon ********ers at Centerpoint. Let's praise the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and get our power back on!!!
I live in Timbergrove, even the actual hurricanes didn't look this bad. The main power lines for the whole area is down in multiple spots and plenty of uprooted trees.
