Four straight and 11 out of 17. Only 5.5 out of first and 3.5 behind South Oklahoma. Still a ways to go before we can officially say "we're back," but it's crazy how close they are to being playoff relevant after such an awful start. Get the sweep! Keep the streak alive as long as possible!

That’s now 4 great pitching efforts in a row (including yesterday’s dumb Blanco game) since Javier last Saturday.

3 big moments for me. All from Grease. 1.) Framber fields and perfectly throws to first. He didn't throw it 100 ft over the 1B's head like he's done the past season. 2.) When the opportunity to make a wild throw presented itself, he said not today, Satan. Let the single go.
3.) On the Balk, he just smiled and kindly shoosed the Ump. Then exhaled and delivered a strike.

Crazy how things play out when you can get good pitching.

The reason why we won the WS in '22 was we had dominant pitching (SP + in the pen) and they were able to stay healthy.

The first quarter of the season has been one cluster F after another. JV, Framber, and Javier haven't been able for extended periods of time combined with Abreu, Pressly and Hader pitching like $h!t and with all of that they're five games back in the loss column.

Sorry, JV, Framber and Javier haven't been available for extended periods of time.

Man, the A`s are really bad but I dont care, this is a great stretch, good pitching is the elixir we needed...............Now, get out the brooms and get ready for the Brew Crew, they look pretty good the last few games

I like the A's as a team, all things considered. They have had the deck so completely stacked against them, yet they have seriously overachieved despite all of the off the field ****. I fully expected them to be one of the worst teams ever this season. They're not. Kotsay has done a good job.

Food for thought. Justin Verlander makes almost as much money this year as the A's entire team.

Over/Under on ER for Javier tonight at 7 for me. I say under :). But man he needs to ****ing pitch way better than last outing. Hopefully just knocking off major rust and he'll be better to at least give us 5 IP with minimal damage.

Going to the game tonight. The last 2 I’ve went to were losses. If we lose I will fully take the blame and this will be my 3rd and final strike this year.
