You guys are hilarious. All these conspiracy theories over a billboard. No doubt the reason Boki and Taylor were on there was simply because no one except McGrady has taken any pics in their unis yet. The other new guys (Lue, Howard, Gaines, et al) won't have those photos taken until media day. But, for the Rocks to sell tickets, they need the boards up now, so ya'll need to just chill on all that "this must mean something" stuff. Truth is, and I know this for a fact, the promotional department and the team don't generally have discussions about this stuff unless there is some major reason. So, they were likely working with what they had. By the way, I see that billboard almost every day and I told a buddy of mine about it and said, "You know, when the fact that Boki and Taylor are on this billboard gets posted on the BBS, everyone is going to think it is some sort of conspiracy." Man, you guys are predictable.
In this case, it isn't logic, it's experience. I still know quite a few people who work for the Rockets and know how things work over there.
Saw a new one today on the 610 South Loop past Buffalo Speedway and before Kirby westbound. It showed JVG and the players huddling around him, couldnt make out who was in the huddle other than they were wearing their road jerseys and the slogan "R u In?" above it. Nothing great, I love the one on 1-10 better.
Saw that one tonite on my way home. Quick glance but I saw Jackson and T-Mac with their backs turned and I thought I saw Howard's head peaking out from the other side of the huddle. There was one more player on the left side but I didn't get a good look, stupid dry contact lenses.
Boki will probably get his contract picked up for another year, how much can it cost the Rockets? by the way, does anyone know where i could get that video from the playoffs where Nachbar dunks on Malone and then the block? you know the video, i had it but I had to do a total restore on my computer and all my files were lost, so if anyone knows where i could get it, the post where it was originally posted doesn't have it anymore, or its not working anymore. So if anyone konws where i can get it that be so cool, thanks.
I see one every day when i go to downtown from 59N it is the pic of Yao and McGrady with stretched arms and hodling the basketball in the middle. I will try to take a pic but i don't know how great it's going to come out lol.
