Meh - I think there was a degree of Biden pandering there - but the reality is that in that region just about every group of people has been a target of conquest or destruction or subrogation, and that includes the Jews......... however the context that is always missing is that it isn't unique to Jews in the region. Also - while it is REALLY important to Israeli Jews that they are the "chosen people" and therefore deserve a claim to the land above all else - most people in 2024 don't give a **** and recognize it for the entitlement that it is.
