Anybody excited about this fight? Anybody else ordered the PPV?

I did. I am excited. Having a few friends over Saturday night to watch it.

    Predictions?

I'm not really rooting for either fighter, but I have a funny feeling that Bernard Hopkins is going to give Oscar De La Hoya a nice asswhupping.

Im thinking of catching this over at SRO.

    Coma? RM95??

Im going with Hopkins. KO by the 5th round.

I think this fight will really end up defining Oscar's legacy in boxing, win or lose.

I don't think Oscar will be knocked out, he's pretty tough even though we don't think of him as tough. He has a really strong jaw. Has he ever been knocked out? He's definitely faced some big punchers in his time.

That being said, I don't think he can win. I think Hopkins is just too strong for him.

I like Hopkins in this fight. De La Hoya barley won his last fight and he lost to Trinidad whom Hopkins has beaten. Should be a good fight though.

Oscar looked terrible in his last fight. So Im going with Hopkins on this one. If Oscar comes to the ring in shape then maybe he will have a chance.

KO by the 5th round sounds about right. Hopkins wants this one bad. Real bad.

It might help define Oscar's legacy but it probably won't hurt his popualrity at all if he loses. He will still be one of the highest paid boxer's and its biggest draw (for the time being) no matter what the outcome of the fight is.

I'm pretty sure De La Whora is doing this fight for the payday. He'll fall by round two.

This guy is done. Not sure why anyone would pay for this fight unless you just liked Oscar getting his ass handed to him.

de la hoya shouldn't even be in the fight. He lost the last one. I hope Hopkins embarasses him.

Throw away that De La Hoya lost to Trinidad and Hopkins beat him garbage because if you saw that fight you know De La Hoya won hands down.
