The Florida documents case has no chance of the Dems winning anyway because they can't stack the jury in Florida. Again, the process is the punishment, as they look to drive a negative media narrative, tie up Trump's time, and drain $$$ from Trump. I dont see how the judge couldn't delay given the revelations about the evidence. Both sides can agree to that.

My understanding is that it’s not easy to remove a judge and even if Jack smith feels Very frustrated by Cannon it would be an even longer delay with little chance of success to remove her. Maybe some of the lawyers @Nook, @StupidMoniker etc comment about how hard it is to remove a judge from a case?
It depends on at what point in the proceedings you are trying to get the judge off the case, it may differ by jurisdiction as well. In California, it starts of incredibly easy, you can get one judge off the case as soon as it is assigned to them. Each side gets one such challenge. It is done under California Code of Civil Procedure 170.6. Once a judge handles the case and does anything substantive, it becomes much more difficult.
