It is propaganda that rich people are overwhelmingly democrat, when they most certainly are not. And the government doesn't tax me to death. Fun fact, I've been working full-time since 2007. My total federal income tax after factoring in refundable tax credits and economic stimulus payments related to COVID and the recession is ($49,087). It is pretty damn bipartisan effort to give me money.

You aren't totally wrong, but your example is not good. Yes, DC voted heavily Democratic, but that's not good evidence for "rich people are overly Democratic". There are many possible reasons why - DC is densely populated, majority black, and has a higher percentage of LGBT individuals relative to the US as a whole; these are some reasons...
