The more and more I think about it, the more I think this is the type of guy we need at free safety, even if he does struggle supporting the run. Because in this pass happy league, we've go the pash rushers to make QBs lives hell, so hopefully they are going to either get to the QB, or force them to make earlier, ill-considered decisions that will create opportunities for our DBs. I'm liking this pick. I'd like it even better if Pitre would get his **** together.
Let’s see how it works out but this was such a good value at a position of dire need. Fingers crossed.
Hopefully his tackling will improve. Good thing is he's willing to throw his body in there, but tackling a guy inside the 10 with a full head of steam shouldn't be expected. With that said, he does need to improve his tackling.
